Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Why Nursing?
As a nurse, you have the opportunity to change people’s lives. Every day, nurses ensure that patients have the best health care, and they teach them how to improve and maintain their health for a lifetime. There is a great need for nurses in a variety of settings — hospital, health department, out-patient office, rehabilitation center, public and private schools, business and industry, and the military.
Why BSN?
The 4-year BSN degree is preferred by most nursing leaders and provides the best opportunities in today’s job market, including one of the highest starting salaries in any field. You’ll find that a BSN is a requirement for many positions. It is also the entry point for graduate studies, nurse practitioner, and nurse anesthetist programs.
