The Information Technology Department welcomes you to our site.  By browsing our site you will find the answer to many of your questions concerning Email, Network, CATV and Telephone services.  If you are unable to find your answer browsing, please feel free to contact us using the many request for help forms throughout the site.

 

The Information Technology Staff consists of five team members, very well versed in the use of technology on the Campus of Milligan College.   We are here to assist you.    We are located in the Kegley Computer Center  in the lower level of the Student Union Building (below the grill) with operating hours of 8:00am to 5:30 pm Monday - Friday.  Please feel free to stop by and visit.

 

During the summer months of 2008 the IT staff has been busy preparing for the upcoming school year.   The following is a brief listing of some of the enhancements made:

 

        A new public lab was created in Derthick Building

        A public print station was installed in the Derthick Lobby

        Three new multi-media classrooms

        The Jones Lab was converted to a MAC format with all new equipment

         Many Servers where replaced

         Enhancements to the telephone system were made to aid in 911 emergency calls

         New computers where installed in the Derthick Lab

         Wireless Access was added to Hart Hall and Sutton Hall

         Improvements were made the the wireless access in the Clark Education Center

         And the list goes on........

 

  As you can see this has been a busy time for the Information Technology Staff.  Keep your eyes open

  for other exciting changes.
