Faith in Serving
You'll soon discover what makes Milligan stand out from other schools. As our vision statement proclaims, Milligan is a place where Jesus Christ is exalted. We believe God has a unique plan for each of our lives-for our hearts as well as our minds. Together we can form a new generation of Christian leaders who are intellectually and spiritually prepared to change lives and shape culture.
Milligan offers a vital and challenging spiritual life program where you will be strengthened and encouraged to live a vibrant Christian life. We are affiliated with the Christian churches and churches of Christ, but our interdenominational student body is diverse. As a student, you can broaden your faith through weekly chapels, convocations and vesper services. And you'll have plenty of opportunities to participate in or lead worship services, prayer groups and Bible studies.
Nourishment for the soul
All full-time students participate in weekly chapel services, where they worship as a community and hear inspiring messages from powerful speakers. Other faith development opportunities include vesper services, small groups, Bible studies, accountability partners, prayer and discipleship groups, and retreats.
Service
Of course, the Christian faith is truly about serving others, and Milligan encourages students to put their faith in action by participating in mission and service projects in our own backyard and around the world. Here, you will reach out and become more aware of your culture and the world in which you will minister.
